This work in four movements was composed in 1984 for the Farnaby Brass Ensemble. As the title suggests, each of the movements depicts a different mood: Ceremonial, Nostalgic, Devotional and Cheerful.

Montsalvatge's Concertino 1 and 13, written in 1975 is a sometimes gritty, fleetingly Minimalist piece in which the solo violin line, played with a rounded, singing tone is set against a changing and consistently interesting string ensemble texture.

This delightful march from Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11, K.331 is masterfully scored by Robert Longfield in a light, allegretto style. The piece moves between a B minor/major tonality. Robert has layered many of the sections to create a moving and ever-changing timbrel pattern. An easy grade 4.

Rick Marlow and Bobby Scott's A Taste of Honey was made famous by Herb Alpert. Rob Vuono puts his remarkable arranging skills to work in this jazz-waltz version. After an opening chorale in the bone section, the drums kick off the band as the piece builds gradually while changing key two times. Solo is in the alto sax (which includes a written solo as well).
