Stranger Things is a brand new chapter for the game Dead by Daylight. The Stranger Things chapter features a new map, the Underground Complex, located beneath Hawkins National Laboratory. The Demogorgon is a new indomitable assassin. Opposing the Demogorgon are not one, but two new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble. It was the early 1980s, a time of Cold War experimentation and naive fascination, a time of Stranger Things. In the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, secret experiments were being conducted. When an interdimensional gate was accidentally opened at Hawkins National Laboratory, an army of creatures with long, curved claws and gaping mouths that bloomed like terrifying flowers were unleashed. The creatures were dubbed "Demogorgons" by a group of local children who encountered them. Nancy Wheeler's aptitude for investigative journalism was first revealed when she brought down a secret government organization in Hawkins after the disappearance of her closest friend, Barb. Her expulsion from the Hawkins Post in the summer of 1985 did not deter Nancy from pursuing leads.... Steve Harrington, once a popular athlete, is struggling to find his place in Hawkins after high school ends and his old friends leave for college. Since then, he's spent his time spinning ice cream at the mall, flirting with girls, and cracking secret Russian codes. With the help of his friends, Dustin and Robin, Steve creates a new identity and learns what true friendship really means. Demogorgon's Power: From the Abyss The Demogorgon affects the environment near the generators, affects nearby Survivors, and uses Portals for fast travel. Demogorgon starts with a limited number of Portals that can appear on any flat floor or ground. Demogorgon has 3 new perks. Surge Your awesome presence charges the air and disrupts technology. Shooting down a Survivor will immediately explode and cause a regression effect on all generators in range. The generator also regresses instantly. "The creature appears to have an unknown effect on electricity and nearby electronics."- Hawkins National Laboratory Cruel Constraints Your connections to the hereafter are revealed when your victim tries to escape. Each time a generator is repaired, the vault is blocked for a short time for Survivors near that generator. "The specimen appears to be able to affect the state of nearby objects as if they existed in another form in an alternate dimension to our own."- Hawkins National Laboratory Mindbreaker Your disturbing presence exhausts and weakens the victim. While repairing the generator, Survivors are affected by the Exhaustion Status effect. The Exhaustion Status effect pauses while the generator is being repaired and restarts after the repair action is complete. - "The specimen may cause feelings of fear and fatigue in those in the vicinity." - Hawkins National Laboratory Nancy Wheeler is a tenacious investigator who has an instinct for telling a good story.
