Trevor Hold: A John Clare Songbook

Trevor Hold's song cycle features nine settings of words by John Clare. The songs are written for Tenor soloists, although the majority of the songs are appropriate for Sopranos, and may be performed as individual pieces or as a complete cycle. The cycle itself was first performed by John Potter at the University Of Leicester in February 1982.
