Flute-ABC : Exercise for flute from the very beginning, using children's and folksongs from all over the world

The Flute ABC is the work of flautist and flute teacher Vilmos Bántai, who died not long ago. Earlier it was circulated in manuscript, but now the widow of the artist, Éva Sipos, herself a music teacher of international renown, has completed it for publication. Folksongs of different nationalities and children's songs help greatly with learning the new notes. The musical material of the volume is compiled so that it links directly with the next stage, the first volume of the time-tested Flute Method by Zoltán Jeney (Z. 5457).

Oboe ABC : Exercices for oboe from the very beginning, using children's and folksongs from all over the world

This volume in the ABC series, having regard to the special demands of oboe teaching, takes the beginner on from a less elementary level than the other volumes, and accordingly proceeds to a higher level than the other instrumental ABCs. In the lovely Adagio by Mozart all the parts are equally demanding, the first and second require a sure technique even in the higher positions.

Für Kinder 1-2 - Kleine Klavierstücke für Anfänger : For Children 1-2

The series For Children (together with Mikrokosmos) belongs undoubtedly to the basic works of piano instuction. It is learned from almost all over the world. The present edition was prepared by the composer's son Péter Bartók living in the United States who used all available manuscripts and other documents which helped clarify the uncertainties concerning the music text. In order to meet this objective, a completely new engraving was made and the editor described the historical background of the emergence and the editions of the work as well as the nature of the corrections.
