Design: Johanna Hartikainen Concept: The Lunar the pendant from Woud is an elegant combination of soft light and elegant black metal inspired by night sky. Embraces modern architectural design while honoring the ancient astronomical observations. The three halos that surround the sphere of opal glass illustrate the cycle of waning and growing moons and create the impression of a radiant full moon. The lunar the pendant is a dynamic sculpture that responds to the surroundings and the lighting. The light is gently scattered as it passes through a suspended, disc-shaped piece of white glass etched with a map of a lunar landscape. Seen from different angles, the phases of the moon will change and cast harmonious shadows.
