Design: Ahm & Lund for Fritz Hansen Concept: Clam  from Fritz Hansen Based on a seashell from nature, the Danish design duo created this extraordinary pendant lamp, which without a doubt can already be described as a Danish design classic. The lamp that takes its shape after the mussel also hides its very own kind of pearl in the middle of the shell, namely the breathtaking and pleasant light. The lamp is made of opal glass which gives a soft and welcoming light, through its two shades. By turning the brass screw, the lower shade can be adjusted so that the light can also be adjusted as desired, combined with a diffuser which provides a glare-free light, The clam lamp creates a calm and soft atmosphere in the home, and with the option to choose between the two sizes. Ø44 and Ø55, Clam can be easily adapted into the home. The duo behind the design also proved back in 2019 that the Clam is definitely a lamp that lives up to the title as a Danish design classic. Together they won the Danish TV program, "Denmark's next classic" with their impressive and eye-catching lamp design.
