It also throws light on problems such as those presented by gangs; and suggests the importance of my friends the closely-knit set who mean so much to the adolescent.

Alan C. Acock's A Gentle Introduction to Stata Revised Sixth Edition is aimed at new Stata users who want to become proficient in Stata. This assumption of a blank slate is central to the structure and contents of the book.
