The ProLateral Transfer Board has been specially designed and manufactured to enhance the versatility of Lateral Transfers. Boasting a unique design, the ProLateral Transfer Board can be used to either match the contours of a profiling bed or be used completely flat. The ProLateral's ability to be able to transfer directly across to a profiled bed is particularly useful where a patient is either afraid or unable to lie completely flat during a lateral transfer. This transfer board although exceptionally strong it extremely lightweight and fitted with 6 ergonomically positioned handles that allow it to be easily placed and removed in most situations. The handholds, when the board is folded in half, can be used to hang the board up, thereby ensuring that the board takes up the minimum of space during storage. This Alerta Crash Mat with Wireless Nurse Call Alert has been designed to be placed alongside a bed and helps to reduce the risk of injury should a user fall from the bed. If a fall does occur an alarm will be activated to alert a carer. The mat incorporates sensor pads and a Wireless Transmitter within the foam which connects to the Alerta Wall Point Receiver. The Alertamat Crash Mat is quick and easy to position and benefits from a PU wipe-clean surface. When unfolded, the mat measures 1800mm (71") long, 600mm (23.5") wide and 60mm (2.5") high. To allow for easy storage and transportation, the mat can be simply folded in half. Highly versatile, the Alerta Crash Mat can be used with a nurse call system through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver for centralised activation or used as a standalone system, independent of nurse call systems, through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver only. N.B. This Alerta Crash Mat must be used alongside an Alerta Wireless Receiver (sold separately here).
