This Nurse Alert System has been cleverly designed to raise the alarm when a patient/resident leaves their bed or chair and can only be switched off by infrared control. This alert system is tamper proof making it ideal for patients/residents who may not consider themselves to need monitoring or who have been known to switch alarms off. The functions of switching the system on, off or reset it are controlled by a remote fob which is designed to be kept by the carer/nurse and is not possible on the local unit.
