Leyland Cypress 'Gold Rider' (Cupressocyparis Leylandii) - 3 Balls

Leyland Cypress 'Gold Rider' (Cupressocyparis Leylandii) - 3 Balls

A fast growing conifer which has bright leaves that hold their colour all year round. The Gold Rider Cypress, named for its yellow/gold foliage is a common sight across the gardens of Britain. They require very little maintenance and can be left to grow on their own. However, if used for hedging, their dense leaves and branches will probably need to be trimmed each year to maintain the hedgerow's smooth shape and tidy appearance (if desired). Known for their hardiness and potential for fast growth; our selection of Leylandii are easily maintainable and are great ways of adding colour to your garden all year round. Prune in September for best results. Additionally, to get the best out of its magnificent foliage, position in an area where it will receive a good amount of sun. Lagerstroemia Indica (Crape Myrtle) – Shrub

Lagerstroemia Indica (Crape Myrtle) – Shrub

Lagerstroemia Indica are deciduous, have a rapid growth rate, and are often seen in their multi-stemmed form. They will grow in almost any kind of soil: sand, loam or clay, although it prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sunlight. This plant is easily transplanted and is drought and alkaline tolerant, but it does have pest and disease problems. It is even possible to grow them in containers if they are watered and fertilized properly.  They will grow in partial shade, however, the best flowering will occur on plants that receive more than 6 hours of direct sun. This plant blooms from June until fall, and to promote flower bloom, it is best to trim off seed pods. Fall color is not very impressive because the tree is tropical and loses it's leaves early. This plant can be grown as a street tree with ground cover underneath, as an espalier, or as a specimen.
