Finerfilters Self-Piercing Saddle Valve. Finerfilters self-piercing saddle valve is suitable for allowing connection to a 15mm copper pipe. This saddle clamp fits over 15mm copper pipe and allows a feed to connect to 1/4" Tubing. Ideal for plumbing a water feed to your Reverse Osmosis Unit, undersink water kit or for supplying water to a Fridge. A saddle valve is mounted directly onto 15mm copper pipe. Saddle valves are self-tapping devices. Once mounted onto a pipe, with the included rubber seal in place, all that is required is to turn the valve clockwise until it pierces the pipe. When the valve handle can no longer be turned, it has done tapping the pipe. Turning the handle counter-clockwise opens the valve. Please turn off the mains water supply to install this item. Please Note: The saddle valve will be supplied with 1m of tubing, but the colour of the tubing supplied may vary to that included in the picture.
