Wax Melt Making Kit Fresh Set
Everything you need to start making Wax Melts which make a great addition to your range of scented products or are great as a gift! The kit includes: 1x 50g fragrance oils 5 2oz shot pots (to put your wax in to) 500g of wax random dye random Glitter How to use your kit Melting the wax Empty your wax in to a pan and pop on the hob, you can also use a slow cooker. Heat your wax to around 70°C whilst stirring gently. Do not exceed 80°C. It wont take long to melt so keep an eye on it! Adding Colour For our wax kits we have included mica powder. This has best results when mixed with the fragrance oil before being placed in your wax. There is no right or wrong amount just add little bits until you are happy with the colour Adding Fragrance regularly check the temperature of your wax until the wax reaches 65°C. Once the wax is at 65°C, pop your mixed oil and mica powder in your wax. We suggest using up to 10% fragrance oil therefore 500 g of fragrance oil will fragrant 5 kg of wax 100g wax 10g oil and so on. Pouring Now all your ingredients are mixed, with your wax is at 60-65°C, it is time to pour the wax. Watch your shot pots as they harden, once they feel cool you are good to go!
