System Sensor M200XE Loop Isolation ModuleThere is a large number of System Sensor intelligent fire alarm systems the address loop with a recipient device up to 198 is protected by a single one loop interruption but in the case of loop short circuit the entire loop it may become inoperable. With the M200XE modules shorting is not desired can be reduced.Only a small part of the system falls out if the loop is broken down into isolators because in the case of a possible loop only the two isolators will not be available to the control panel. If the address loop voltage drops below 7V the isolator module - with FET on the branch breaks it off the loop in the non-short-term part of the address loop the assets remain operational. If the breakdown the loop voltage rises on one side of the module then the separated short-circuit loop section 3 mA max. 15 mA control current flows through the module.In isolation the address loop wires between min. 2.2 kOhm resistance. The isolated state is maintained until the voltage of the disconnected section is 7V the short-circuit or the abnormally high current consumption ceases to exist. After the termination of the termination the isolator disengages the loop automatically.The two-colour LED on the module flashes green in the normal state of the loop every 3 seconds. If the module on any side it detects a short-circuit it illuminates with continuous yellow light during the shutter. The M200XE module in the M200E-SMB mounting box is wall-mounted with the M200E-DIN clip directly on the DIN rail M200E-PMB clip can be mounted in the fire panels box.

By wiring the sounder circuit in a loop instead of a traditional radial all sounders will remain operational in the event of a short-circuit or open circuit fault.Component parts are approved by LPCB to relevant parts of EN 54 and the system is fully compliant with BS 5839-1 using a single sounder loop. Use of the Vimpex Loop Sounder System will greatly increase the reliability of the sounder circuits and in many cases result in a saving in the amount of cable used.Each loop can accommodate up to 45 sounders. Suitable for use on both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems the system provides much greater protection against faults than the dual radial circuit arrangements commonly used.The Vimpex Loop Sounder System significantly enhances the reliability of any sounder system. With conventional radial circuits a single open or short circuit fault on a sounder circuit could result in the loss of at least half of the sounders in an area of a building.Each sounder is supplied with a bi-directional short-circuit isolator fitted within its base. In the event of a short circuit the isolators will activate and disconnect the faulty section of cable while reporting in monitoring mode the fault to the control panel. When the sounders are activated the loop is driven from both ends ensuring that all sounders will remain operational even in the event of a single short-circuit or open-circuit fault.
