You choose the length you need for your DIY project – the width is 150 cm.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, which is characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80.

As the name suggests, it's cut on the bias, so it naturally follows your curves, necklines, corners, and edges. This results in a beautiful finish.     How to sew on bias tape  Bias tape is for sewing onto curves, corners, and straight stretches. When you sew the bias tape onto your project, you use straight stitches with a stitch length of about 2.5 cm. As you sew, you must not pull or stretch it. Let it align naturally along the edge to get a neat result.     TIP  When you start sewing your bias tape on, fold in about 2 cm, so it's double-layered. When you finish, tuck the other end's fold over your folded start. The same principle applies when extending the bias tape.

Straight cut tape stretch 20mm navy 3m

When you work with stretch fabrics, you are best advised to work with stretch tape. This tape is stretchy and follows curved edges without puckering. Stretch straight cut tape is ideal for necklines, scallops, edging and corners. You can edge your blanket, skirt or body stocking with straight cut tape. Straight cut tape with stretch is similar to bias binding. These products are used for the same purposes. Our bias tape maker makes it easy for you to make your own bias binding. Take a strip of fabric and insert one end into the bias tape maker tool. Heat the iron and press folds in your bias binding.

Overlock thread navy 5000m

Premium quality overlock thread in 100 % polyester, suitable for use with all overlockers. Overlock thread is slightly finer than regular sewing thread. An overlocker works differently than a sewing machine. Overlocked seams are stretchier. While an overlocker sews with one or two needles and two loopers, a sewing machine sews with an upper thread and a lower thread that lock together between the fabric layers. In overlock stitching, two threads wrap around the edge of the fabric. Essentially, overlock stitching creates a seam and binds edges at the same time. Due to the special overlocker technique and threading, overlock thread is available on 5000 m cones. Our overlock thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified.

In other words, the kind of outerwear you wear for everyday life and parties, and not so much for those days when you're building caves in the garden.  This wool has a brushed surface, making it extra soft and pleasant to the touch. At the same time, it's compactly woven and strong, so you get a fabric that works well for all kinds of coats and jackets for young and old alike. Use it for classic coats with a collar and pretty buttons or for a more personalized version with a zipper, oversized collar or fewer details - it's entirely up to you.Wool in interior designWe know that the next one is a bit impractical because the wool is not washable. But it's just so soft that we have to say that it's also great for a wool blanket on the sofa. For example, with a nice coarse stitching all the way around - warm, cosy and perfect for cool summer evenings outside and sofa evenings inside.  Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of meters you need for your project. The wool is not washable, but can be dry cleaned.Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool, and you may want to go up in stitch length for a more finished look. 

Sewing thread cotton navy 1000m

This is durable, soft and 100 % natural, high-quality thread made of Egyptian cotton, which you can use for hand-sewn and machine-sewn projects. The thread is mercerised – i.e. it has been pre-treated to strengthen the fibres. Mercerised thread is softer and glossier. For great results, use it in all your projects. The mercerisation process ensures that cotton thread shrinks less and therefore keeps its shape better.  Our cotton thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified. 

Polar fleece navy

The loveliest projects in fleeceFind your favourite colour and start creating your new project! Polar fleece is light, soft and stretchy - a great material that also insulates. That means it's perfect for lining a jacket or a nice, fluffy vest, for example. This is how easy it is to make a fleece blanketChoose the colour and cut the blanket to the exact size you want and voila: you have a new fleece blanket. It doesn't get any easier than this. And yes - it's good enough - you don't need to sew the edges; the material won't run. If you want to give your rug a nice finish with a sewn edge, we recommend using jersey needles, which are specially developed for qualities like this. They penetrate the fabric easily without leaving holes. Or how about making a reversible blanket or vest with two different colours of fleece - double up on warmth, softness and use. Fleece dries quickly, is robust and durable and therefore very easy to bring along, for example as extra blankets in the caravan. Practical information about polar fleeceThe fabric is 145 cm wide and you buy it by the metre, so you get the length you need. Quilting thread navy 300m

Strong and luxurious quilting thread, made of 100 % Egyptian cotton. It is mercerised, i.e. it has been pre-treated to strengthen the fibres. Mercerised thread is soft and glossy. This ensures that you can achieve a really nice finish when quilting or doing patchwork. It is a good idea to wax the thread with paraffin wax (item number 41031). Waxing ensures that the thread glides more easily through the fabric, e.g. when you quilt by hand. Our quilting thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified. 

FRAYA, mixed yarn/blow yarn "Happy", navy

HAPPY is a light and airy blow yarn with gorgeous coloured freckles. This airy yarn is ideal for knitting big projects on chunky needles. Your work is never heavy or shapeless. Go ahead, make yourself a chunky sweater and matching scarf. You can also use the fine play of colour in the yarn in pretty wall hangings. In other words, with HAPPY FRAYA, you can do a little bit of everything: a happy yarn for adventurous projects! HAPPY FRAYA has yardage 50 g = 110 m and knits up at gauge 13 sts = 10 cm on knitting needle size 7.00 mm.

Patch for repair nylon 10x20cm navy

Prolong the useful lifetime of your clothes with a self-adhesive nylon patchHave you torn a hole in a jacket or other item of clothing? Then this self-adhesive nylon patch is the easy way to give your clothes a new lease of life.Repair holes and tears in outerwear, etc.This patch is made of 100% nylon. It measures 10 x 20 cm. It has a self-adhesive backing and is good for repairing holes or tears. Use it, for example, to repair rainwear, a jacket, trousers, ski suit, snowsuit and other waterproof clothing – and in places you find it difficult to get to sew. How do I attach the nylon patch?Make sure that the damaged fabric is clean, dry and smooth.Instructions:Trim the nylon patch to the desired size. We recommend that you cut the patch several centimetres larger than the hole. Don’t forget to round the corners.Remove the protective foil and press the patch firmly in place.Cover the patch with a cloth and press with an iron for about 10 seconds at the lowest temperature setting (on the right and wrong side). Pressing the patch fixes the adhesive so the patch better can withstand washing.NB: If the fabric is not suitable for ironing, use a hair dryer to heat the patch and fix the adhesive.

It's soft fabric in the plush quality that, as the name suggests, is perfect for teddy bears and cuddly toys.     Does the youngest member of the family need their very own personalised teddy bear? Perhaps sewn from a favourite drawing by the child? Find the most beautiful colours and get started with needle and thread.      Remember to use jersey needles (item no. 46799 or 46028).   Creative projects you'll want to cuddle  More into clothes? Then it seems you're set for the softest cuddles with teddy clothing. For instance, create a fluffy vest to keep you warm, or a plush jumpsuit (maybe even with bear ears) for the little ones in the family.     The fabric is soft, warm, and plush with a bit of elasticity. And it's just cosy. Both as clothing and for decoration: make a plush blanket with matching pillows and get ready for starry moments on the sofa.    Practicalities about teddy  Find your favourite colour and order the length you need. The fabric measures 155 cm in width, and you can expect it to shrink about 3% when washed (the fabric can be washed at 40°). We therefore recommend washing the fabric before sewing your project to ensure the best final result.
