At the same time, it's compactly woven and strong, so you get a fabric that works well for all kinds of coats and jackets for young and old alike. Use it for classic coats with a collar and pretty buttons or for a more personalized version with a zipper, oversized collar or fewer details - it's entirely up to you.Wool in interior designWe know that the next one is a bit impractical because the wool is not washable. But it's just so soft that we have to say that it's also great for a wool blanket on the sofa. For example, with a nice coarse stitching all the way around - warm, cosy and perfect for cool summer evenings outside and sofa evenings inside.  Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of meters you need for your project. The wool is not washable, but can be dry cleaned.Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool, and you may want to go up in stitch length for a more finished look.

How about sewing a tailored dress or a wrap dress with a tie belt? What is Courtelle?Courtelle was developed by the company Courtaulds PLC in England in the mid-20th century. It's a composite fabric that is smooth, dense, soft, warm, and hard to crease. It's also known by the name "Ponte de Roma".A bit of practicalityThis fabric consists of 70% viscose, 27% polyester, and 3% elastane. You choose the length you need for your sewing project – the width is 145 cm. Please note that the fabric shrinks by 13% when washed. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 80.

Organic heavy french terry navy brushed

This ORGANIC French terry is brushed on the wrong side. It is made of 100 % organic cotton. French terry is ideal for making casual garments, such as sweatshirts, jogging pants, sweat dresses, etc. We recommend that you wash your fabric before cutting, as you can expect French terry to shrink. To avoid running short of fabric for your sewing project, check the fabric shrinkage percentage before you buy it.

Jeans thread navy 400m

Strong denim thread made of 100% polyester is great when working with heavy-duty fabrics and in projects where durability is an absolute must. Use it for sewing denim garments, but also in wall hangings, decorative stitching, etc. You can give your creative projects a really nice finish with this type of thread – e.g. try stitching a contrasting colour on jeans and other projects.Our strong denim thread is OEKO-TEX 1 certified.

FRAYA, mixed yarn/blow yarn "Happy", navy

HAPPY is a light and airy blow yarn with gorgeous coloured freckles. This airy yarn is ideal for knitting big projects on chunky needles. Your work is never heavy or shapeless. Go ahead, make yourself a chunky sweater and matching scarf. You can also use the fine play of colour in the yarn in pretty wall hangings. In other words, with HAPPY FRAYA, you can do a little bit of everything: a happy yarn for adventurous projects! In short, it's a look that never goes out of fashion and is perfect for children, young people and adults alike. That said, you naturally calf's wool is usable for all sorts of other things. The material is long lasting and water-repellent, making it ideal for outerwear. For example, have you considered a short jacket - perhaps with a zip - or a roomy poncho that's easy to pull over your head and cosy to snuggle up in?  We also use the wool for shirts with pockets, where the heavy felted quality gives the shirt a pretty cool look.  Homespun - what is it?Homespun is a lightweight twill woven wool that has been processed with water, soap, heat and beating, then scratched up to give you a dense structure that is virtually windproof and waterproof. Originally, wadding was made from pure wool and used, for example, for work wear. Today, it is often a blended product to ensure the best possible quality. Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 65% wool, 25% nylon and 10% polyester. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of metres you need for your project. Please note that this wool is not washable. Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool. And a little tip: you can increase the stitch length to get a nice finished look.

Expect it to shrink 3% upon washing.   Since cotton canvas is a heavy material, it's crucial to use the right needle and thread. We recommend either a jeans needle or a universal needle size 90 along with a robust thread.
