It's a classic that everyone can wear and you can use it for all kinds of creative endeavours.Denim is made from cotton yarn woven in a tight twill weave, making it a highly durable and long-lasting fabric. It also has a distinctive texture that develops a beautiful patina over time - both with use and washing. Additional detailsThis denim is made from 100% cotton - a heavyweight quality of 10 oz (1 oz (ounce) equals approximately 28 grams. A higher number means a heavier/higher density fabric). The fabric measures 145 cm in width, and of course you can choose the length yourself, but remember to factor in that it shrinks 5% when washed.  NB: Always wash denim before use to avoid staining.  Remember to use a jeans needle and a denim thread.

Elastic round 3mm black 3m

Colourful Round Elastic BandsWho says elastic bands have to be white or black and hidden away? Not us! With this elastic band, you'll make a little statement with your DIY project. DIY with elasticated cordYou can choose from several great colours to get the look you want. Choose a contrasting colour for a cool finish or go tone-on-tone - it's entirely up to you. We love this elastic as a drawstring in sweatshirts, but generally just use it as a cool extra detail that keeps the garment in place. Or maybe you want to create one of those DIY notice boards where elastic bands create a graphic pattern across the board? This elastic would also work super well for that purpose. With a width - or diameter - of 3 mm, this is a versatile elastic that can be used for many different projects. It is braided, made from polyester/latex and has a relatively firm elasticity. You get a cool elastic in a good and durable quality; the beautiful surface hides a collection of very thin elastic bands that ensure that the elastic keeps its firm elasticity. The elastic can be washed at 40° and must not be tumble dried.

Viscose + jersey = a new favourite Viscose and jersey are two popular terms within textiles. In this fabric, we combine the two qualities, giving you a light and soft material with good breathability and comfortable stretch.  Colourful designs Whether you prefer black and white, earthy tones or vibrant colours – you'll find the entire colour palette in this fabric. Choose one or more favourites, get out your sewing machine, and sew your new outfit.  The material is suitable for almost all types of clothing, but of course, we have some favourites.  One of them is the classic top. Once you've found the right fit, you can easily change its look by simply choosing a new colour. Or how about making small adjustments in the design, so you have your favourite top with short, ¾, and long sleeves?  The fabric is suitable for much more than classic tops! Use it for dresses, leggings, trousers, and skirts. Find plenty of inspiration in our sewing patterns or design your own favourite.  A bit of practicality Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose from sources like wood pulp or cotton waste. It's similar to natural fibres like cotton and silk. Here, the viscose is mixed with elastane (6%), giving you a stretchable viscose.  You choose the length you need for your sewing project. The fabric measures 145 cm in width and shrinks by 6% when washed.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®? Use a lino cutting tool. It’s always a good idea to use a cutting board. Always cut away from yourself. The blade should be sharp. Adult supervision is recommended when children use lino cutting tools.Using a lino roller, roll a thin and even layer of lino printing ink onto a clean paint tray. Transfer the ink by rolling over the surface of the lino printing block. Roll backwards and forwards and in different directions until the lino printing block is completely covered with ink.Lay a sheet of paper, PAP FAB or fabric over the lino printing block. Then lay a sheet of protective cardboard or card on the top. Using a clean lino roller, roll backwards and forwards over the protective cardboard. Change direction. Great for sports This material is comfortable to wear and offers maximum freedom of movement. This means it's brilliant for all kinds of sports, so you can confidently start sewing sporty leggings and tops for your own and others' active pursuits.  And if you're more into water? Then the black variant is your go-to. It's chlorine-resistant, making it suitable for swimsuits, bikinis, and swim shorts.  And great for everything else We've covered the sporty designs, but you can also use this fabric for everyday and party wear for both adults and children. Leggings for a party, a beautifully draping skirt, or an elegant top.  The possibilities are endless – just get out the sewing machine and get started.  A bit of practicality This fabric is made of 92% polyester and 8% elastane. It measures 150 cm in width, and you can expect it to shrink by 6% when washed. Choose the length you need for your DIY project. Stylish in Softshell Softshell is a hit for both adults and kids! It's stylish, practical, and comfortable to wear. Sew a simple vest with pockets, a jacket, a coat with a 2-way zip for cycling, or perhaps an all-in-one suit suitable for adventures in the woods and walks with the dog in the unpredictable Danish weather.   Softshell is designed to be both breathable and windproof. It consists of an outer material that is windproof and water-repellent, while the inside is soft and flexible. All in all, it's a combination that offers you great comfort and freedom of movement.  The quality is windproof and waterproof with a water column pressure of 5,000 mm and good breathability of 3,000 mm.  Softshell or Rainwear? In general, softshell is more breathable than traditional rainwear, making it more comfortable to wear when you're active.  Many wear softshell regardless of the weather: You're prepared for a rain shower, and at the same time, the soft inner layer keeps you comfortably warm.  About Water Column Pressure Water column pressure indicates how much water the material can withstand before it starts to penetrate. The higher the water column pressure, the more waterproof it is. A good rule of thumb is that +2,000 mm is suitable for light rain showers/short trips in the rain, while +5,000 is for a heavier rain shower or a couple of hours in light rain. If you're going to be out in heavy rain, we recommend +8,000 mm.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. At the same time, it's compactly woven and strong, so you get a fabric that works well for all kinds of coats and jackets for young and old alike. Use it for classic coats with a collar and pretty buttons or for a more personalized version with a zipper, oversized collar or fewer details - it's entirely up to you.Wool in interior designWe know that the next one is a bit impractical because the wool is not washable. But it's just so soft that we have to say that it's also great for a wool blanket on the sofa. For example, with a nice coarse stitching all the way around - warm, cosy and perfect for cool summer evenings outside and sofa evenings inside.  Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 80% wool and 20% polyamide.
