Repeat this process three times. Regularly lubricate the upper daisy wheel (upper air control) with vegetable oil. Follow proper fire-starting procedures using firelighters and charcoal. Avoid using liquid kindling products. Use an appropriate amount of charcoal, around five centimeters, to prevent damage to the Kamado.
