It is controlled from the main control panel via a loop wired radio interface module allowing both wireless and hardwired devices to be seamlessly located and controlled from the same wiring loop.Key FeaturesNo external aerialsDual battery supplyFull device status monitoring - power sources head removal and device tamperSenses both smoke and heat GBP 142.58 1
Ziton ZR485-3 Wireless Manual Call Point Ziton ZR485-3 Wireless Manual Call PointThe ZR485-3 is a wireless indoor manual call point operating on 868 MHz.System operationThe ZR485-3 is operated either by pressing a resettable element optional or by breaking a frangible glass with finger pressure. The glass element has a clear vinyl coating on the front surface to prevent operator injury and to inhibit the release of loose fragments as the glass is broken. Both operating elements are easily interchangeable.Every wireless device controlled through the RLM interface is assigned its own IDENT address with which the main control panel communicates with it. This provides the same system functionality to wireless as well as traditionally hard-wired devices.Wireless systemsThe ZR485-3 provides a manual means of initiating a fire alarm in areas where the installation of hard wiring is not an option. The unit is controlled from the main fire alarm panel via a loop wired radio interface module. This arrangement allows both wireless and hardwired devices to be seamlessly located on the same loop wiring. The ZR485-3 forms part of an extensive range of wireless fire alarm devices that includes both smokeheat detection as well as notification devices sounderbeacons and IO units.Suitable for use on installations specifying the recommendations of BS 5839 Part 1 the callpoint fully meets the requirements of European Standard EN54 Part 11 and is CPD certified.System testingThe ZR485-3 is designed for surface mounting and is supplied complete with matching back box. System testing is carried out by using a special key supplied with the call point. When inserted into a slot in the base of the call point moulding the device is trigged to operate automatically.Rated at IP42 the ZR485-3 is constructed of ABS plastic and is intended for indoor applications. A red LED indicator prominently positioned on the call point front plate flashes when the unit is operated.Key FeaturesFully addressableFull wireless device status monitoring2-way radio communication5 year battery life at normal conditionsDual battery supply GBP 142.58 1
Ziton ZR401-3P Wireless Sensor Base for ZX432-2P Ziton ZR401-3P Wireless Sensor Base for ZX432-2PThe ZR401-3P is a POLAR WHITE wireless mounting base for use on Ziton 868 MHz wireless fire systems. It allows the ZX432-2P detector to be easily removed and replaced from almost any location. The ZX432-2P connects into the base with a simple twist and lock action allowing quick and easy removal for cleaning and servicing or reselection of device type should the usage of the protected area change.High Integrity CommunicationsA high integrity transmitterreceiver its power supply and aerial are contained within the base moulding which in turn forms an integral part of the overall sensor assembly. The power supplies comprise of self-contained standard alkaline cells providing an energy source for normal site operation for up to 5 years. The system indicates remaining battery capacity on the wireless controller and a low battery condition is sent to the control panel when reached allowing sufficient time for a service engineer to replace the power source during the next service interval.Fully MonitoredThe ZX432-2P multi sensor is fully monitored by the ZR401-3P base. A device-missing signal is transmitted automatically to the main control panel via the radio loop module in the event of a detector being removed from its base. In order to prevent unauthorised removal of a device an automatic locking facility is incorporated into all detector mouldings. If the automatic locking facility is activated the detector can only be removed from its base by use of a special tool. The locking facility is an easily applied option often taken on site during system commissioning.Ease of InstallationThe ZR401-3P base is installed either by direct surface mounting or with surface fixing plates with screw fixing centres between 50 and 90 mm. Ample room for address labels is provided on detector and base ensuring that when removed devices are replaced in the correct location. The address number facility additionally allows the detector to be easily identified when viewed from floor level.Key FeaturesFor use with ZX432-2P detectorUp to 5 years battery lifeSelf contained dual power supply and aerialAddress identification label supportEasy installation GBP 106.87 1
