Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder by the Turkish studio Zoetrope Interactive is a thriller in which we see the world from the first person perspective. In Pursuit of Loath Nolder is the first part of the series planned for three installments. The story begins in November 2011, in the Lovecraftian town of Hilltown. The suspect is a certain Loath Nolder, a once successful private investigator. Nolder's past is full of mysterious events - one day Loath severed all ties with family and friends and for five years disappeared in the darkest corners of Africa. Exactly what he did there is unknown, but the experience he gained there completely changed him. When he returned from his mysterious journeys, however, he agreed to accept the task of finding Clark Field. The effect, however, was far from what was expected - the detective himself ended up being a murder suspect. The plot looks quite encouraging, and this is not the only argument that the game's creators have at their disposal. We are dealing with a large number of classic elements for adventure games and detective games, but there are several novelties, and a large caliber of them. When it comes to the first ones, they undoubtedly include the point & click interface with a choice of options such as pick up, put away, open or use. During the game, the atmosphere of mystery and danger lurks just around the corner. Every step we come across references to Lovecraft, Necronomicon and Abdul al Hazred. The main character moves through locations such as dark and damp underground passages, strange ruins, mysterious mansions and old cemeteries.
