Sempervivum 'Lemon Flare' (Pot Size: 2 Litre Pot)

Sempervivum ‘Lemon Flare’ is a striking and low-maintenance succulent that adds vibrant colour and texture to any growing space. This evergreen succulent forms dense, mat-like clusters, with rosettes featuring a webbed centre and thick, fleshy leaves. The leaves are a striking lemon yellow, accented with hints of red, and shift to a vibrant lime green when exposed to the summer sun. Perfect for borders, rock gardens, or even container displays, Sempervivum ‘Lemon Flare’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it an ideal choice for dry, sunny spots. This hardy, drought-tolerant beauty requires minimal care and can withstand colder temperatures, so it’s perfect for UK gardens, even through the winter months. With its easy-going nature and striking colour, Sempervivum ‘Lemon Flare’ is perfect for both beginner gardeners and seasoned plant enthusiasts. It’s an excellent choice for adding instant colour and texture with minimal effort. Plus, its unique, ever-changing appearance will keep your garden looking fresh and exciting all year round! Grow it in pots, in-between paving stones, or as part of a mixed succulent display for a stunning effect. Pair up with Sempervivum ‘Coral Red’ or Sempervivum ‘Arctic White’ as well as smaller varieties of sedum, such as Sedum ‘Little Miss Sunshine’. This Sempervivum can be planted in an exposed part of the garden with plenty of access to sunlight. Avoid planting in poorly draining soil. It helps to mix some grit with the soil, and don’t plant too deeply—keep the plant slightly above the surrounding soil and finish off with a good layer of grit or gravel spread around and under the plants. Will tolerate dry periods well. Sempervivums can also be used successfully as houseplants as long as you give them a bright location with a good amount of daily sunlight and allow them to dry out fully between infrequent waterings.

With correct feeding and care they will continue to fruit with the next cycle.
