X Rebirth is a space simulator created by Egosoft studio, the creators of the previous parts of the X series . However, this is not a simple continuation - the creators decided to rethink the assumptions of their flagship game and present new ideas. The main goal was to simplify the game without giving up its many options and gameplay mechanisms.
Story
The action takes place many years after the events of the previous parts. A gigantic supernova remodeled the galaxy's forces and destroyed many important centers of civilization. Now it is on the shoulders of the most enterprising people and strangers to rebuild the world's former glory. The space has changed beyond recognition - first of all, the number of known sectors has decreased. There were also huge clusters of stations and galactic highways that made it easier to move between them.
X Rebirth introduces a better structured and more clearly marked story campaign. We play the role of a certain Rena Otani, a young adventurer who accidentally lands on the prototype ship The Albion Skunk, formerly known as The Pride of Albion. He is quickly joined by a woman named Yisha, who is involved in the political affairs of the region. For this reason, Otani gets involved in a plot about the abuse of one of the most powerful existing space factions. The campaign is a story full of twists and turns and introduces you to the basic elements of the game. The acquired knowledge can be used in the "free play" mode.
