The stunning plains and valley passes of Utah make Soldier Summit one of the best loved mountain passes of the western United States. At the crest of the Wasatch Plateau, Soldier Summit is a 69 mile broad valley pass joining the communities of Helper and Provo, and is the highest point on the Denver and Rio Grande railroad in Utah. Discovered by Franciscan priests and used by Native Americans before them, the pass has been an important transportation route for many years.Today, the summit is a popular photo spot for railfans, and the Gilluly loops - a series of horseshoe curves - on the western approach to the summit provide spectacular scenes as heavy freight trains power their way up the pass, a challenging drive for all railroad engineers and one that makes Soldier Summit an epic US rail route.Included with the route is a Rio Grande SD40T-2 diesel locomotive, the famous F40PH ‘California Zephyr’, and Rio Grande GP9 road switcher.ScenariosSeven scenarios for the route:Eastbound Zephyr: Part 1Eastbound Zephyr: Part 2Provo Yard DutiesSupply and DemandPart 1 – Provo to DetourPart 2 – Detour to HelperPrice River RunMore scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator: North Somerset Railway Route Add-On Steam CD Key

Train Simulator: North Somerset Railway Route Add-On Steam CD Key

The stunning and picturesque landscapes of the Somerset hills come to life in this unique route for Train Simulator, representing the proposed reopened heritage line from Frome to Radstock.A railway line in the North of Somerset is nothing new, with the Bristol and North Somerset Railway opening in 1873. This important line connected Bristol with Radstock, joining an existing branch from Frome to Radstock to serve collieries and the communities that brought workers to the coal industry. However, since 1973 this part of Somerset has been without a rail line, until now - the North Somerset Railway's plan to reintroduce a heritage railway operation between Radstock and Frome will bring new access to an area of natural beauty and serve a growing housing population in the area. The route for Train Simulator demonstrates what the new railway will look like, running from Frome, with important connections to the mainline, through Mells and Kilmersdon, to Radstock. The first phase of the line, from Mells Road to Mells, is planned to open in 2018, with the full line from Radstock to Frome scheduled for opening in 2025.Included with the North Somerset Railway route for Train Simulator is the Class 117, a diesel multiple unit synonymous with branch lines and suburban services. Built from 1959 until 1961, many of the units still run today on preserved railways, despite being withdrawn from mainline service in the mid 1990s.ScenariosFour scenarios for the route:Morning CommuteA Very Special DayA Cold Winter’s EveningFirst Trip of the DayMore scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. Train Simulator: Midland Main Line London-Bedford Route Add-On Steam CD Key

Train Simulator: Midland Main Line London-Bedford Route Add-On Steam CD Key

One of England’s most important main line railways comes to Train Simulator, joining the UK’s capital city with the Home Counties commuter towns to Bedford. The Midland Main Line was built in stages between the 1830s and the 1870s, and originated as three railway lines which met at the Tri Junct Station in Derby, which were later to become the Midland Railway. However, it was not until 1868 that the Midland Railway had a direct link to the UK’s capital, when a line was opened from Bedford to St Pancras, via Luton. The final stretch of what is considered to be the modern Midland Main Line was a relatively short bypass around Sheffield, which opened in 1870.Today, the Midland Main Line connects London with town and cities in the heart of England, including Luton, Bedford, Kettering, Leicester, Derby and Chesterfield, and since the closure of the rival Great Central Main Line in the 1960s, has been the only direct main line rail link between the Capital and the East Midlands. The route carries a significant volume of long distance and local passenger services, with express passenger services operated by East Midlands Trains, alongside a large amount of freight traffic, including intermodal and stone aggregate trains. The Midland Main Line: London-Bedford route for Train Simulator covers the 55 mile (88km) Thameslink section of the route from London St Pancras to Bedford, via Luton Airport – more commonly known as the ‘BedPan’ line – as it is today.Features of the route include the spectacular London St Pancras station and freight terminals at Cricklewood Freight Facility, Radlett Stone Terminal, Elstow Aggregates Terminal at Bedford St Johns and a cement facility on the outskirts of London St Pancras. Also included is a First Capital Connect Class 319 EMU and EWS Class 66 diesel locomotive, along with PGA stone wagons, PCA bulk powder wagons, FSA/FTA container wagons.ScenariosSeven scenarios for the route:Right Down the LineLeave So SoonCross Town TrafficDoing the Cauldwell WalkRush Hour SoulCementing RelationsGravel TravelsMore scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game.
