Apollo 45681-330APO Intelligent Sounder Visual Indicator Base with Isolator Apollo 45681-330APO Intelligent Sounder Visual Indicator Base with IsolatorThe low volume range is useful in areas such as hospitals where a fire alert is initially intended to warn staff only. The sounder is set to the high range for general use. Synchronisation of tones ensures the integrity of the signaltones from different sounders do not merge into one signal that could be mistaken for a different tone. Group addressing is a simple method of alerting an entire area or group of rooms without delay. For systems requiring isolators at every point the built-in isolator saves installation time and cost. The acoustic self-test means that the sounder listens to itself when it is switched on. If no sound is detected a fault signal is transmitted when the sounder is polled. The beacon self-test is achieved by means of an LED monitoring circuit. If the LEDs do not draw current when the sounder beacon base has been switched on a fault signal is transmitted when the device is next polled.Key FeaturesTwo volume ranges 55-75dBA and 75-91dBAVisual indicator flash rate of once per secondSynchronisation of alert and evacuate tonesSynchronisation of visual indicator flashIndividual and group addressingUnique acoustic and visual indicator self-testBuilt-in Isolator GBP 58.67 1

Apollo Discovery Sounder Base with Isolator 45681-702APO Apollo Discovery Sounder Base with Isolator 45681-702APOThe Discovery Sounder Base is a multifunctional device that incorporates a sounder a short-circuit isolator within a Discovery mounting base. 15 different tone pairs can be used to signal evacuation and alert. A third selection can be used in instances such as a class change in Schools.Brand InformationDiscovery is a range of high-specification analogue addressable fire detectors and alarm devices. Discovery detectors offer effective false alarm management by a combination of EN 54 approved operating modes and sophisticated algorithms.Drift compensation further reduces the likelihood of false alarms caused by a build-up of dust in the sensing chamber. In addition to the familiar smoke and heat detectors the Discovery range features two multisensor detectors. One is an opticalheat multisensor which can be used to protect against many types of fire risk. The other is a carbon monoxideheat multisensor which protects against both smouldering fires and those generating heat.Key Features15 pairs of tonesIt is possible to set individual volume of the sounder from the fire control panelTones can be used for other purposes in addition to warning of fire ideal for schoolsEnables soft start option ideal for hospitals and nursing homesUnique acoustic and visual indicator self-test GBP 40.52 1
Apollo Cat O. XP95 Sounder VAD Base with Isolator 45681-705APO Apollo Cat O. XP95 Sounder VAD Base with Isolator 45681-705APOThe XP95 Sounder VAD Base is a loop-powered sounder and EN 54-23 approved VAD combined with a standard intelligent mounting base. It is used to signal a fire alarm in enclosed areas. You can perform a Self Test this is an important safety feature which has been incorporated into the Sounder VAD Bases when it is switched on it tests itself by checking the actual sound output and flash operation. There are 3 possible outcomes from the test if the transmitter readsA value of 1 Sounder fault this means there was no sound detected in 5 seconds of the sounder being switched on.A value of 2 VAD fault means there is no current being drawn by the LEDs.A value of 3 Sounder and VAD fault where neither of the above elements are operating correctly. If no sound is detected within 5 seconds of the Sounder VAD Bases being switched on it will transmit an analogue value of 1 sounder fault when it is next polled. This feature can also be used during commissioning or periodical maintenance testing. Simply activate the Sounder VAD for at least 5 seconds and check the control panel for a fault signal. If none is received the Sounder VAD Base is working properly.Key FeaturesEN54-23 approvedFlash rate of 0.5HzSynchronisation of alert and evacuate tonesSynchronisation of visual indicator flashIndividual and group addressingUnique acoustic and VAD self-testBuilt in isolator GBP 72.02 1

Apollo AlarmSense Open Area Sounder 55000-018APO Apollo AlarmSense Open Area Sounder 55000-018APOThe AlarmSense open area sounder has an IP65 rating meaning that it is suitable for outdoor use. In the event of unauthorised sounder head removal the unit generates a fault warning but all other devices on the same zone will continue to operate.Brand InformationAlarmSense is a range of conventional fire detection and alarm products designed to be connected to the same pair of supply wires making installation quicker and less expensive.AlarmSense has been developed to make the design and installation of a fire detection and alarm system easier and more economic for small to medium-sized buildings. The range also allows an existing system to be extended or modified if necessary. This flexibility makes AlarmSense an excellent choice for use in HMOs House in Multiple Occupation. As you would expect from Apollo AlarmSense incorporates features that help reduce false alarms and patented technology to ensure the integrity of a system. The range also includes products such as beacons to help meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act DDA.Brand FeaturesAlarmSense sounders and manual call points are fitted to the same zone as detectors. In quiescent state the zone is powered at between 9V and 15V nominally 12V at which only detectors and call points operate. Sounders require 24V to operate. When an alarm is detected on a zone the control panel increases the line voltage to 24V on that zone causing the sounders to produce a continuous Evacuate sound. Any voltage-sensitive output devices - relay modules or other alarm devices - also operate. When the voltage is increased to 24V the detector alarm current will reduce to 1.5mA. The detectors are latched in alarm until they are reset by reducing the voltage to less than 2V for greater than 1 second. Output devices will de-activate each time the voltage is reduced to 12V unless otherwise stated in their specification. It is possible to generate an Alert tone by pulsing the supply voltage from 12V to 24V and the sounders configured to continuous output. Pulse frequency of 1 second on 1 second off is recommended for compliance with BS5839 Pt1.Key Features Sound output of up to 99dBLPCB approvedSeparate first-fix base for ease of installationIP65 rated outdoor useDesigned for use as part of an AlarmSense fire alarm panel systemWall mountedTone synchronisationMonitors the presence of the sounder head GBP 40.24 1
