The Luxury Carpet Alertamat Floor Alarm System is a robust and hardwearing alarm system designed to prevent falls or accidents by alerting caregivers when a user leaves a designated safe zone. The mat is placed at the bedside or doorway, and when pressure is applied to it, the alarm sounds. It is available in five different colours so you can choose a colour that will blend in with the current carpet or flooring; this makes it an ideal solution for dementia patients who may try to avoid it. It can be connected to a nurse call system using the provided 3-meter cable for central activation, or it can be used independently with the Alerta Alarm Monitor (sold separately) for localised alerts. The mat also features a unique built-in cable, which provides a spare socket for connecting other Alerta devices and using only one nurse call point.
