The Escapists: The Walking Dead is a kind of spin-off of The Escapists - a simulator of escapes from prison in February 2015, in pixel-art 2D style and with a top-down view. Although the new production uses very similar gameplay mechanisms, this time we do not play the role of a convict, and in addition, the action takes place in the world after the zombie apocalypse known from the title comics by Robert Kirkman (in Poland under the title The Walking Dead ). Unlike the original, this production was not prepared by an independent studio Moldy Toof, but by Team17, famous for developing the Worms series . Gameplay In The Escapists: The Walking Dead we play the role of the protagonist of the comic book original - policeman Rick Grimes. The events shown in the game and their chronology are roughly in line with the original story. We start in a deserted hospital, where Rick awakens from a long coma (which he fell into as a result of a gunshot wound in the last action) to discover that the United States has changed beyond recognition as a result of the zombie epidemic. In the next stages, we visit other places known from the comic book cards, and we also meet characters invented by Robert Kirkman, who join our hero. Key features5 Locations: Tackle 5 of the most infamous locations from The Walking Dead story including: Meriwether County Correctional Facility, Woodbury, and Alexandria Epic Crafting: Choose from over two hundred + different items to make over 70 tools or weapons to aid your survival. Well known characters: Interact with all your favourite characters from the comics and recruit them to help you with important tasks. Routines: Make sure you and your survivors keep up your daily routines - it's important for morale! Guns!: Firearms will now be available to craft or discover - they are handy for keeping walkers at bay! Zombie hordes: Use your wits and your survivor companions to fend off hordes of hungry walkers. Steam Achievements: Be sure to check every desk and room if you want to get them all! Steam Leaderboards: Optimise your plans and strategies to complete the levels in the fastest time. Cloud Saves: Take your game on the go to make sure you can get your fix.

Sheltered is a survival strategy game set in a gloomy, post-apocalyptic reality, in which our goal is to protect the life and health of a family hiding in an underground nuclear shelter. The game is the debut project of the 3-person Unicube studio, realized thanks to the support of the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The publisher's duties were assumed by the well-known, among others from the Worms series, Team 17, as part of its own support program for independent authors. Story The plot of the game presents a grim vision of the world after a nuclear catastrophe. People hiding in underground shelters suffer from limited resources of food and water, and any going outside may end up with death at the hands of hungry, mutant beasts or other people - ready to do almost anything to survive. In addition, prolonged isolation does not have the best effect on the psyche, arousing a feeling of loneliness in a person, increasing fear, suspicion and a tendency to violent reactions. In such circumstances, the main character of the game has to take care of a family of four, trying to ensure its safety and take care of basic life needs.
