Total War: Rome II - Hannibal at the Gates Campaign Pack Europe Steam CD Key

Dropping you into the Western Mediterranean at the outbreak of the 2nd Punic War, Hannibal at the Gates features a new campaign map focused on the period that brought the ancient-world superpowers of Rome and Carthage to all-out war. One of the most famous in history, the conflict demonstrated the tactical genius of great rival generals Scipio and Hannibal. Can you recreate their remarkable strategies, or can you do better? How will you change history? You enter the war as Carthage or Rome, command the noble Hellenic city-state of Syracuse, or, for the first time in ROME II, play an Iberian faction as the Arevaci or the Lusitani. Key featuresNew Campaign Map: A more detailed representation of the western Mediterranean than the ROME II map, with players able to expand across 19 provinces dotted with resources and settlements. The major powers of the time, Rome and Carthage, begin at loggerheads but with a number of key regions and client states under their control. Syracuse, the Arevaci and the Lusitani all start with a single region, offering a significantly different and more formidable challenge than playing as one of the two great empires. Diplomacy-focused Technology: Rome and Carthage both feature new civil tech-tree branches focused on diplomacy. Both sides begin with multiple allies and client states, and can undermine their opponents’ support by diplomatic means. 12 Turns per-year: With a time period covering events between 218 - 202BC, each turn in Hannibal at the Gates represents a month, and the campaign transitions through all four seasons of the year, complete with seasonal gameplay effects. Compact, focused Multiplayer Campaign: For those generals seeking a more rapid Multiplayer Campaign game, Hannibal at the Gates’ tighter geographic scope makes co-op or competitive 2-player campaigns more focused and faster than a full Grand Campaign. New Historical Battles: Hannibal at the Gates adds two new Historical Battles: the Battle of Cannae (216BC) and the Battle of Zama (202BC). Both battles marked key points in the 2nd Punic War, with Cannae representing the high point of Hannibal's invasion of Italy, and Zama marking the completion of Rome's victory and dominance over Carthage. New Playable Factions for Total War: ROME II In addition to mighty Carthage and Rome, players can fight the 2nd Punic War as three new factions: the Arevaci, the Lusitani and Syracuse, each one featuring its own faction traits, characteristics, unique units and campaign start-position. If Hannibal at the Gates is owned, these factions are also playable in the ROME II Grand Campaign.

Total War Saga: TROY Standard Edition Epic Games CD Key

Total War Saga: TROY Standard Edition Epic Games CD Key

Total War Saga: Troy is the second, after Thrones of Britannia, spin-off of the Total War series, developed by Creative Assembly studio. The source of inspiration for this strategy game was primarily the epic Iliad by Homer. Story Background The action of Total War Saga: Troy was set in the time of the half-legendary conflict known as the Trojan War, which sparked off the kidnapping of Helena, the Queen of Sparta, by the Trojan prince Paris. This was the beginning of a battle in which, under the walls of Troy, the defending armies clashed with the Greek army, and the heroes fought for eternal glory. Players can take one side and try to lead it to victory..   Gameplay Mechanics As was the case with the previous games of Creative Assembly studio, the gameplay in Total War Saga: Troy takes place on two levels. The first is the strategic map, where we make subsequent moves in turn-based mode. It is here that we manage our empire on a macro scale, taking care of the economy of our regions (based on raw materials such as food, wood, stone, bronze and gold) and trading with allies, establishing more or less friendly diplomatic relations with other parties, and finally conquering new ones territories. The second is the real-time battles on land and sea, during which we take direct control over our troops. During the former, we have to rely primarily on infantry, and the differences between its types are now more palpable than ever. Besides, the combat effectiveness of our troops is also influenced by the ground; for example, mud can significantly slow down heavily armored soldiers, while lightly armed warriors do not have much trouble crossing marshy terrain, while tall grass protects units specialized in stealth. The creators made sure that the most realistic assumptions were hidden behind the mythical "envelope". In the game, there are units referring to myths, which, however, are not monsters or heroes endowed with supernatural abilities; for example, in the case of the Minotaur, which we can also send into battle, we are talking about a tall, muscular warrior wearing a helmet in the shape of a bull's head, who sows fear among his opponents. We can also meet mythical agents such as Medusa. Heroes known from the epic of Homer stand at the head of eight camps that we get at our disposal during the game. On the side of the Greeks, we are talking about the brave Achilles, whose temperament can be a problem in the event of the defeat of the army he commanded. Hektor, Prince of Troy, is in turn handsomely rewarded by King Priam as soon as he succeeds in completing the task in front of his brother Paris. While playing, an important role is also played by the favor of individual deities, the faith in which brings our army various bonuses. For example, Ares, as the god of war, gives our warriors greater combat efficiency, Poseidon, the god of the seas and oceans, facilitates battles on the water, and Aphrodite contributes to the development of the economy.   Reception TW Saga Troy received generally positive reviews among critics and the gaming community. The launch of the game on Epic Games Store was an incredible success, as the game reached over 7.5 million downloads on the first day. The game features everything that's best in Total War series games and enriches it with new elements and mechanics. Key Features Take part in the legendary ancient war between Achaeans and the people of Troy. Choose the side of conflicts and lead your people to glory. Rule your kingdom wisely and prove that you are worthy of this honor. Variety of different military units, specializing in different types of combat. 8 unique heroes - Achilles, Paris, Hector, and more, are waiting for your commands.
