The publishing side was taken care of by Black Shell Media, which has a number of other indie projects to its credit.GameplayThe gameplay in Dungeon Souls was inspired by such projects as Nuclear Throne or Risk of Rain . At the beginning of the game, players choose one of the difficulty levels and the character. Several of them have been prepared - there is an archer, a barbarian, a mage and a few others. Each of them has unique weapons, and besides, one is better at close range and is more durable, the other can shoot from a distance, but has little health, etc. Not all heroes are available at the start, because some of them need to be unlocked during the game.
