Ships 2017 is another simulation game in the PlayWay publishing catalog. The production was developed with the PC platform in mind by an independent FragOut team.
In Ships 2017, players take control of three different ships - a container ship, a transport ship and a construction unit are at their disposal. The action takes place in the waters of the Baltic Sea, where various tasks await execution: from rescue missions, through transport cruises, to the assembly of various marine installations, or even the extraction of sunken objects from the bottom of the Baltic Sea.
Due to the fact that we are dealing with a simulator, all units and machines have been recreated based on their real equivalents. In addition, ships are susceptible to damage, but all damage can be repaired thanks to the implemented repair system. An additional attraction is the mode in which we take direct control over specific crew members, participating in extinguishing fires or even defending the ship against pirate attacks. A set of tools helps in performing these special tasks: fire extinguishers, searchlights and water cannons.
Ships 2017 on the PC platform has a decent quality, three-dimensional graphics. The most noteworthy features are the realistically reproduced water and the ship models designed with attention to detail.
