For the first time since 1995, worms have also been divided into classes that differ in strength and appearance - including scientist, soldier, ranger and scout. The addition is also the presence of water, which is now not limited to the reservoir at the bottom of the map, but also appears on the boards themselves - it can be used to water your opponent or wash him off the surface. Worms: Revolution runs on a new graphics engine, created especially for this game. The sets we fight among are three-dimensional, but the gameplay itself takes place from the side. In this production, we try to survive on a threatening, deserted island - and we can do it alone or in the company of a few friends. The Survivalists takes place in the world known from the series The Escapists. Players take on the role of survivors who are stuck on a dangerous, desert island. In The Survivalists, we observe the action from above, from the so-called top-down perspective. The fun consists in exploring the two-dimensional game environment, collecting and creating items, hunting animals and mythical beasts, as well as performing various types of tasks - the latter come from a character called Mysterious Stranger or we find them on the seashore. It is worth noting that the locations are randomly generated, so the gameplay looks a bit different each time. On the island you can also find a wide variety of different places - incl. forests, mountains or dungeons. The crafting system plays an important role in Team17 - we can create both simple items (e.g. improvised weapons) and more advanced things (shelters, buildings). The monkeys that we find on the island can help us in work (but also in combat) - provided that we train them properly in advance. This solution adds a bit more strategic depth to the game. While playing, we can also explore ancient temples that can be found on the map. There are very valuable treasures waiting inside, but getting them will not be an easy task.
