Wargroove Steam CD Key
Wargroove is a turn-based strategy that draws from such series as Advance Wars and Fire Emblem. The production was developed by the independent British studio Chucklefish, whose debut project was Starbound, released in 2016.
Wargroove takes us to a fantastic world. The main character of this story is Mercia - ruler of the Kingdom of Cherrystone, who was forced to flee her homeland. Enemies chased after her, and the only salvation for her and for the entire kingdom is to find allies in unknown lands ruled by four feuding factions; apart from the Kingdom of Cherrystone, there are references to the Heavensong Empire, the Felheim Legion and the Floran Tribes.
In Wargroove, the action is shown in an isometric view. The game takes place in turn-based mode, on a two-dimensional map that we travel (moving both on land and in waters) with our troops, gathering resources, developing the army and facing adversaries.
The clashes take place on separate boards, and we observe their course from the side. The authors provide us with a wide range of units - in addition to infantry, we can send ballistae, trebuchets and, finally, powerful golems to the battlefield. In addition, a dozen or so Commanders play an important role in the skirmishes, each with their own personality and motivations. They have individual special moves, the title "Grooves", the skillful use of which can change the fate of many battles; However, if we want to make use of them, we first need to charge a special belt.
The mainstay of Wargroove is a story campaign in which we can follow the fate of Queen Mercia. Subsequent plots of the story are mainly conveyed through animated cutscenes. There is also an Arcade Mode for a single player (it consists of special challenges in which we can face five opponents) and Puzzle Mode (where we have to demonstrate strategic skills to win the match in the first round). In addition, the production allows for multiplayer fun over the Internet or in the so-called hot chair; it is about both the cooperation mode and the competitive gameplay.
