Maneater is an open-world action RPG developed by independent studio Blindside Interactive; it is about a band made up of people who previously formed the warmly welcomed Depth. The main character of Maneater is the title man-eater shark, orphaned and left for dead in the waters of the Gulf Coast. Our help is to make sure, thanks to the protagonist, we managed not only to survive, but also to stand at the top of the local food chain. Only then will our ward be ready to take revenge on the people responsible for his mother's death. Maneater GameplayIn Maneater, we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). Despite the original convention, the gameplay does not differ from the genre scheme. As we play, we explore the waters of the Gulf Coast, plundering sunken wrecks and nearby swamps, and searching the ocean floor for organisms suitable for consumption. Due to the fact that in the described production we play the role of a shark, the character development system in the game is made addicted to food. In the course of the struggle, we devour not only swimmers relaxing in the waters of the Gulf Coast and scuba divers exploring the secrets of this place, but also other marine organisms; among them there are other predators who fiercely defend themselves against landing in the shark's stomach. Fortunately, our student evolves over time; enlarging a selected part of his body enhances certain features and, consequently, increases the hero's combat potential. Thanks to this, his menu is constantly expanding, and over time it includes organisms that our client could only dream about before eating.
