The creators of the title are a development team from the independent British studio Roll7, which already has several games for mobile platforms, but Olliolli is its debut on consoles and PC. Gameplay The game uses a two-dimensional graphics engine, and its levels are implemented in a similar way as in traditional platformers. Players take on the role of a skateboarder. During the game, we always move towards the right side of the screen and we cannot turn back or stop. There will be over 100 different obstacles on our way, such as barriers, fences, boxes, benches etc. We will use them when planning and extending tricks. The player follows the fate of the gorilla that got out of the cage and wants to escape from those who put him in this cage, and on the way he meets resistance from guards and soldiers. In terms of mechanics, the title is a classic representative of the beat'em up genre, in which we travel through successive randomly generated labyrinths, eliminating encountered enemies. The procedural creation of a location is important because it makes it impossible to complete the game "by heart" - every turn may hide an unpleasant surprise. The action itself is presented from above, which immediately evokes associations with Hotline Miami. The controls are simple and intuitive: using the keyboard, the player controls the character, while the mouse is responsible for hitting, as well as for grabbing objects and enemies and throwing them over walls; on the other hand, both analog sticks are responsible for character movement and attacks. In Ape Out, you mainly use the strength of the hero's muscles, which literally crushes enemies with his paws, leaving bloody stains after them. It is also possible to use elements of the environment in the form of a shield, while the opponents themselves, after being captured, can become a kind of thrown ranged weapon. The enemies themselves come in several types, differing in the type of weapons. So you can meet guards equipped with both regular rifles and flamethrowers. It is worth emphasizing that fire burns not only the main character of the game, but also everyone who gets under its stream. Ape Out for PC offers two-dimensional graphics, full of bright and even slightly psychedelic colors. The characteristic splashes of blood left by the killed opponents attract attention. Music is also very important in Gabe Cuzzillo's game. The jazz rhythms that adapt to the events on the screen increase the pace of the game, giving it a peculiar, almost mesmerizing character. Essays on Empathy is a collection of 10 short productions created for thematic challenges (the so-called Game Jams) from the Deconstructeam studio, known for such productions as The Red Strings Club or Gods Will Be Watching. In addition to the opportunity to learn about unique mechanics and stories, in each of the productions you will also find concept art with detailed documentation related to the creation of a given title.Each of the 10 productions in Essays on Empathy focuses on a different topic, story and the way it is told, thanks to the use of unique treatments and mechanics. Before us, among other things, we learn the story of a schoolgirl who believes that her skeleton does not belong to her, or follow the fate of a hired killer working in a flower shop.The compilation includes a large variety of genres, often shown in an unconventional style. So it was not without platformers, metroidvania, point and click adventure game, horror or flower arranging simulator. The creators also deign us to set their productions in different realities, thanks to which we will experience a cyberpunk vision of the future as well as contemporary hardships of everyday life in the form of comedy, drama or horror.

The production was released by Devolver Digital (a distributor of such titles as Downwell , Hotline Miami , Reigns and Ruiner ). Story Minit takes us to a strange world inhabited by strange, anthropomorphic creatures. The land has been cursed, making each day here sixty seconds. Players take on the role of a hero who decides to get to the source of the problem and deal with it once and for all. Gameplay In Minit, the action is shown from a camera hanging above the protagonist's head. We start the game at the hero's house - this is where we set off on further journeys, during which we perform tasks for neutral characters , fight with encountered opponents (clashes take place in real time , and during them, you should first of all demonstrate dexterity) and finally solve environmental puzzles. The matter is complicated by the fact that we have the above-mentioned minute for everything, after which the hero wakes up in the morning in bed.
