Fall of Light is an action RPG game with dungeon crawler elements , developed by RuneHeads studio. The production of 1C Company made its debut on personal computers, while its extended console version, subtitled Darkest Edition , was released by Digerati. The source of inspiration for the creators were the titles of the cult type in some circles of Ico and the best-selling series Dark Souls , which is visible both in the plot and in the mechanics of the game.
Story
Action Fall of Light takes place in a fantasy world devoured by darkness. Centuries ago, the darkness was conquered, which gave rise to the Age of Humans. At the end of this period, the dark force resurfaced, gradually devouring whatever stood in its way. The main character of the game is Nyx - an old warrior, whose last task is to make a journey through a land full of dangers and lead his daughter, Aether, to the last place bathed in sunshine.
Gameplay
The events we take part in in Fall of Light on PC, PS4 etc. are presented in isometric view . During the game, we explore gloomy locations, talk to NPCs , discover various secrets (and thus - subsequent pieces of the story puzzle), and avoid traps and solve logical and environmental puzzles. An important role in the described position is the fight with opponents - on our way there are both series of adversaries and powerful bosses , defeating them requires developing an appropriate tactic. In battles, Nyx can adopt various attitudes, making use of various weapons divided into classes, i.e., for example, to fight at a distance by hitting enemies with a crossbow, or in close combat using two short swords. During the course of his adventure, Nyx also gains a variety of special abilities that increase his combat potential.
