Design: Herman Studio in 2018 for Form & Refine Concept: With its clean and simple design, the Alcoa ceramic series has a unique feeling of high quality. With a handle that creates a functional and recognizable expression, the surface is balanced matte gray on the outside and high-gloss gray on the inside to provide a subtle contrast. The name Alcoa refers to the region of Alcobaça in Portugal, where the pottery originates. The region is rich in fine, white clay, which has been the basis of a culture of pottery. The beautiful series consists of a tray, jug and vase, which can ideally be used together to give an impression of wholeness.
