In short, it's a look that never goes out of fashion and is perfect for children, young people and adults alike. That said, you naturally calf's wool is usable for all sorts of other things. The material is long lasting and water-repellent, making it ideal for outerwear. For example, have you considered a short jacket - perhaps with a zip - or a roomy poncho that's easy to pull over your head and cosy to snuggle up in?  We also use the wool for shirts with pockets, where the heavy felted quality gives the shirt a pretty cool look.  Homespun - what is it?Homespun is a lightweight twill woven wool that has been processed with water, soap, heat and beating, then scratched up to give you a dense structure that is virtually windproof and waterproof. Originally, wadding was made from pure wool and used, for example, for work wear. Today, it is often a blended product to ensure the best possible quality. Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 65% wool, 25% nylon and 10% polyester. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of metres you need for your project. Please note that this wool is not washable. Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool. And a little tip: you can increase the stitch length to get a nice finished look.

The most flexible satinDresses, jackets, shirts, tops and skirts - you can sew pretty much anything you want with this stretch satin fabric.   It's the classic satin weave with elastane added, so you get a more matte surface and a more flexible material with greater freedom of movement than the classic satin weaves. Choose from a wide range of beautiful colours and get crafty for your next festive occasion. A little more about this satinThe fabric is made of polyester/elastane, measures 135 cm in width and can be washed at 40° - remember to let it air dry hanging and iron only at low heat. It shrinks approx. 1% in the wash. TIP: Sharp scissors are a must when working with satin. The fabric can be difficult to cut because it's slippery and also offers a lot of resistance. Use a good quality pair of fabric scissors or, if you want to make it even easier, a sharp roller knife/roller cutter. In this fabric, we combine the two qualities, giving you a light and soft material with good breathability and comfortable stretch.  Colourful designs Whether you prefer black and white, earthy tones or vibrant colours – you'll find the entire colour palette in this fabric. Choose one or more favourites, get out your sewing machine, and sew your new outfit.  The material is suitable for almost all types of clothing, but of course, we have some favourites.  One of them is the classic top. Once you've found the right fit, you can easily change its look by simply choosing a new colour. Or how about making small adjustments in the design, so you have your favourite top with short, ¾, and long sleeves?  The fabric is suitable for much more than classic tops! Fleece is not just fleeceWith micro fleece you have the very fine fleece quality. The one where the structure is soft, dense and smooth. It opens up a range of exciting DIY possibilities from clothing to home decor. What should I use micro fleece for?With micro fleece, you can dial down the classic fleece look without having to compromise on all of the familiar qualities: the fabric is still soft, lightweight and stretchy. It insulates well and has been given an anti-pilling treatment meaning that it's virtually lint-free. Furthermore it's tough and dries quickly. Use the fabric for a comfy fleece jacket or vest, for example, where the heat-insulating effect really comes in handy on cold days. Or make a cool loungewear set in your favourite colour. You can also use micro fleece in furnishings for blankets (where you don't even need to sew on a border) and cushions. Please remember to use jersey needles (item no. 46799 or 46028) when sewing in fleece. Practical information about fleeceThe fabric is 145 cm wide and you buy it by the metre, so you get the length you need. You can wash this fleece at 40° and tumble dry at low heat. Be aware that it shrinks about 3% in the wash, so it's a good idea to wash the fabric before starting your project.
