Cultist Simulator Anthology Edition Steam CD Key

Cultist Simulator Anthology Edition Steam CD Key

Cultist Simulator is an unusual card game in which the player takes the role of the leader of a secret cult and creates his own story by choosing the right cards. The production is inspired by, among others in the prose of H. P. Lovecraft. The independent studio Weather Factory is responsible for its creation. Alexis Kennedy and Lottie Bevan, formerly of Failbetter Games (Fallen London, Sunless Sea). The game was financed through a kickstarter campaign. Cultist Simulator is set in a world inspired by the so-called the Cthulhu myths, created by the twentieth-century writer H.P. Lovecraft. The story told in the game is open-ended and shaped by the player, but you should expect some common elements: secrets, arcane knowledge, betrayals, monsters and competition with enemies. Cultist Simulator is a card game that focuses on combining the properties of different cards and telling a unique story through them. In this title, we play the role of a man who joins one of the cults discovering the supernatural world. We start at a low level of the hierarchy, but over time we climb upwards, even take the lead and develop the cult ourselves, setting directions for development, gaining followers, etc. etc. To be successful, we must compete with other cults, but also beware of government bodies dealing with tracking down and pursuing people like us (you can also betray your henchmen). At the same time, our character can also have a private life - family, children. Only our decisions - and our luck - depend on how the story told in the game will unfold. We start the actual game with simple "ingredient" cards, which depend on the hero we choose and can be considered a kind of trait. For example, when playing as a doctor, we get 2 Funds - cards of this type are needed for our hero to live, one Health, one Reason and one Passion. Then we get the ability to assign cards to specific places on the game table and the so-called meters, which determines the actions taken by our hero. For example, by putting a health card in the "employment" field, we decide to take up physical work - ensuring a certain, steady income, but creating a risk of injury. However, if we put a passion card in the same place, our hero will start painting. The gameplay is governed by the aforementioned counters, mainly representing the passage of time in various aspects of the character's life. Both these and the numerous interactions between individual cards mean that we have the opportunity to draw more for our hand. With time, we get access to more and more complicated games, and the story of our hero becomes more and more confused.
