The Mountfield Freedom 38e-SD is a side discharge garden tractor but you can also easily turn this machine into a mulcher with simple fitting of the optional mulch kit wihich is available to buy either with the machine as an accessory or retrospectively depending on the needs and condition of your grass. Side discharge allows you to cut longer, rougher areas of lawn with speed and accuracy and the mulching feature allows you to return vital nutrients back to your lawn. You will be fertilizing your lawn as you mow and therefore you are unlikely to require additional lawn care products, saving you time, effort and money. Charging the battery takes around six hours with the supplied charger but a fast charger is also available as an accessory if you need to reduce the charging time. The Mountfield Freedom 38e SD offers a very generously sized 98cm cutting width which will allow you to cut a large area of lawn in record time and with the minimum of fuss. With seven cutting heights to choose from that range from 25mm to 80mm, this ride-on tractor is pretty much ready for anything. Mountfield suggests it is the perfect choice for lawns up to around 3500 m2. Easy to manoeuvre and simple to operate the Mountfield Freedom 38e SD really puts the joy back into mowing the lawn.
