Bounty Train is a strategy and economic game, produced by a small Canadian studio Corbie Games. The production goes to the USA in the years 1860-1868, where we play the role of a beginner railway magnate. At the beginning of the game, we buy a steam locomotive and a few wagons, which we choose from the various models available, differing in properties and, of course, price. After assembling the machine together, we move on to the second stage, i.e. hiring employees. In addition to the engine driver operating the locomotive (adding coal to the furnace, etc.), you also need to hire gunslingers who will protect you from the attacks of thugs.
Each of them has different features - one, for example, has greater firepower, the second can shoot from a long distance, and the third is very durable and resistant to damage. After performing these activities, we go on the road, controlling the locomotive and giving orders to our subordinates (e.g. we indicate the place where they are to go, or the target at which they are to shoot).
During the adventure, we get to other American cities, where we accept new orders, which boil down to transporting cargo. In addition, we buy equipment, including coal necessary to power the locomotive, hire employees, change the locomotive and wagons for better models, etc.
