Channel gain may be individually set using the potentiometers on the board behind the front panel. The audio inputs to the amplifiers are presented on separate RJ45 connectors each connector providing the balanced audio input and a ground connection. Baldwin Boxall DC Line Monitor BVRDADCThe Vigil BVRDADC is a loudspeaker line monitor and amplifier changeover unit for use with VIGIL amplifiers and the BVRD2M router. Each unit is supplied as a DIN rail-mounting module with screw terminals for connections to the amplifiers and loudspeaker lines. Connection to the BVRD2M is by CAN BUS ports. Each unit consists of ten channels that can be utilised for either dual or single circuit systems.For dual circuits ten working amplifiers five dual circuits and one standby amplifier can be accommodated. For single circuit systems ten working amplifiers ten single circuits and one standby amplifier are available. If an amplifier were to fail the BVRDADC automatically detects the faulty amplifier and switches over to a reserve amplifier until the fault has been rectified. A fault will be displayed on the BVRD2M front panel and also stored in the BVRD2M fault log.When the faulty amplifier has been replaced it is necessary to press the Fault Reset button on the front of the BVRD2M to restore the system and stop using the reserve amplifier. Each loudspeaker line including spurs must have an End of Line resistor fitted in parallel with the last physical loudspeaker on the line. All loudspeakers must be fitted with a DC Blocking capacitor. The BVRDADC monitors the integrity of the Loudspeaker Line by measuring a small DC current flowing through the End of Line resistors. Any change in this current indicates either a short circuit or open circuit condition on the loudspeaker line. Earth faults are also detected.

Baldwin Boxall Line Vox Unit BT10The BT10 is a universal interface module. Connect the input of the BT10 to either a 100 Volt loudspeaker line or the line level output from a telephone switch.The output at either microphone or line level can be fed into an amplifier. When a signal of a sufficient level is received at the input the Vox circuit will operate and it will be passed via the output into the amplifier.In addition the unit has a switched 0V available on the ACC terminal to access the amplifier. E.G. When using one of our amplifiers take a connecting wire from the ACC terminal to pin 5 on the appropriate input socket.The Vox circuit is designed to ensure that there will not be any unwanted noise appearing at the amplifier input and being relayed through the loudspeakers.A pre-set control allows adjustment of the Vox sensitivity. To set it adjust the control so that it only switches on when a suitable signal level is present.The TEST LED will illuminate when the Vox has operated and the access will be switched ON. The gain pre-set adjusts the gain of the unit and is factory pre-set at x 2 6 dB.It can be used to compensate for different input signal levels. The unit is powered from either mains or 24 VDC.If both are connected in the event of mains failure there will be automatic switch over to the 24VDC and the unit will continue to operate.

If the impedance falls to approximately 50 of its original value the line is considered to be short circuit and will not be selected to the amplifier.All 8 zone select inputs will access when it is between 2 to 6.5V.
