Design: Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Hay Concept: Palissade is an elegant series of outdoor furniture designed by the two French brothers, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. Palissade is a collection of beautiful and robust outdoor furniture which has a simple design language that makes them easy to use and decorate, from the backyard to larger public park areas or the small outdoor Café. The design behind the beautiful series is based on a monotonous design language, as the entire collection is created from round metal pipes and metal slats. Based on this simple design, the two brothers have managed to produce a large number of different versions of Palissade which include benches, stools and chairs. The Lounge Sofa in the Palissade series is the perfect addition to the relaxation area in the garden. With its reclining back and shaped bent metal frame, the sofa is ideal to put together with a small coffee table and an armchair so you can form your own small outdoor relaxation area. However, you can also easily place the sofa as a larger bench, for example up against a house wall.
