The Stolen Cards - Lennart Green

This is one of Lennart Green's favorite effects. You show the audience a special deck of cards. Every card has a different back. You tell the spectators that each card was stolen from a different poker game, a souvenir of a winning night. You take two of the cards and place them face-down on the table. The spectator chooses two more cards. The first surprise is that the two chosen cards match your predictions. The second surprise is that not only do the faces match, so do the backs. The third surprise is a real kicker. Every other card in the deck is identical except for the two cards chosen by the spectator. The Stolen Cards comes with a special deck and is completely self-working.

For this special deck edition playing cards, I chose to feature Forget Me Not flowers because those who have lost their lives to suicide will never be forgotten. The repeated phone number 988 acts as the border and will be printed in silver foil . Limited first edition printing of 2,500 decks With this deck of cards, you'll be able to cross the veil and summon evils spirits in order to do your bidding. Call upon the darkness to make a chosen card rise from the middle of the pack, or even cut the deck right to the card that a spectator is merely thinking of. Because that's what you do when you can communicate with the spirit world. Make them do card tricks. Plus, who knew that spirits from beyond the veil were so adorable? We have always loved hands-off card magic. Literally the tricks where something cool happens to the deck while nobody is touching the cards. Stuff like the haunted pack and the rising card. With the Boo Back deck you can ask the ghosts in the deck to make the cards move by themselves, no need to call for random invisible forces to do it. I like using custom cards, but I'm also a big believer in at least some level of familiarity in the cards for the audience. We all know that Bicycle is the biggest name, so that's why I used the Bike logo and style. If we give the cards a new look but keep the classic elements I think the cards are familiar enough that audiences see them for what they are: a twist on a classic. The deck has Bicycle stock and Magic Finish and is traditionally cut. People smarter than me know exactly what all of that means. I just know it means these cards feel dope. Every bit as good as the Bikes you know and love, but probably better. Collectors will dig this deck also. It's a cool update to a pretty classic deck and it's limited. Maybe someday we'll print some other colors (we probably will, I really liked having multiple colors of Insignias) but I don't have any plans to print more batches of these grey ones. When they sell out, they'll probably be sold out for a long time. Maybe forever. The deck has standard Bike faces that have been recolored to match the ghost vibe. Identical jokers because that's more useful than different jokers. A custom Ace of Spades because those are the rules. Also a double backer and a blank facer because extra magic built into the deck is rad. The box is a normal card box and has a custom sticker. Collect them, use them for tricks, or do some kick-ass cardistry with them. As long as they're bringing joy into your life and the lives of others, you do you Boo. Peace, love, and ghosts

GAFF INDEX deck is an assortment of poker cards including 56 gaff cards printed on the most used cards in the world of magic : Bicycle Rider back. In addition to this 56 cards deck, you will have access to a tutorial video (1h40) explaining 15 routines that can be performed with the cards included in the GAFF INDEX deck. You can also use these special cards to create your own routines! After a magical gesture, a card is erased and becomes blank: it is exactly the card thought by the spectator. Oil and water : You shuffle the deck and take out 3 red cards and 3 black cards. Then the cards are alternated to mix the red and black cards. Magically the red and black cards will separate. After doing the same experiment a second time, the cards of the whole deck will separate with the red cards on one side and the black cards on the other. Impression : You start by showing a completely blank card (face and back) and then ask the spectator to name the queen of his choice. Once the card has been named, you take the blank card and magically make the face of the spectator's chosen card appear. Finally you will magically print the back of the card that you can give to the spectator to examine. Merge : You make your audience choose two cards and then thanks to a magical gesture the two cards will merge together. Once the audience has examined the card, you will magically separate the two cards back to the original situation. Change : You show a prediction card that has a different back before you start. Then the spectator chooses a card that does not match your prediction. You then take your prediction card and insert it into the deck, leaving it sticking out. Then the card will visually change into the spectator's chosen card. The design is a classic of borderless decks, repeating into infinity with bees that fly in opposing directions. There is but one break in this rule, the yellow bee that stands out in the top left and top right corner. It accents the design and creates a focal point for your eyes. This little splash of yellow in a sea of black looks stunning in fans and spreads, allowing the minimal design to feel more 3-dimensional. The white faces display custom pips that hold a sinister simplicity. Each pip is arranged in a completely custom way, with a hidden hive represented in 1 pip of each number card. This subtle hint is to compliment the Queen's geometric styling. Each court card is custom, with connecting hexagons encasing an effeminate design, like honey trapped within a single cell of the honeycomb. The lines are thin and sleek but the aura for each court card is instantly recognizable. Each tuck is custom-made by a print house that specializes in intricate details. It is one of the most deceptive ways ever offered for having a chosen card appear at a freely-selected number in a deck of cards. "Miracle One" is Christian Grace's contribution to the "Any Card at Any Number" plot. He held it close to his chest for many years. Until one day when he decided to post a video online of a performance. Magicians were dumbfounded. They couldn't believe it didn't use a stooge or some sort of camera trick and clamored for Christian to release it. Check out the full performance of "Miracle One" in the trailer and you'll see why. What is "Miracle One"? "Miracle One" was designed to be a very fair and clean "ACAAN-style" effect that works every time. All without any complicated sleight of hand. This amazing effect is within the reach of any magician. Your spectator takes one of two decks of cards and shuffles it. They then select a card while the deck is still in their hands. This prediction is placed off to the side. You never need to touch or switch it. They are then asked to name a number and deal down to it in the other deck of cards that has not left their view since the start of the trick. The card at the number they freely picked is revealed to be the same card they selected from the other deck. A truly impossible perfect match. Key Details They shuffle and choose a card while the deck is in their hands The matching card is always at their named number in the other deck No difficult sleight of hand Multi-layered methods make it impossible to backtrack Your "Miracle One" set includes two decks of cards. You don't need to practice any difficult sleight of hand to start performing "Miracle One." It is well within the reach of any magician. There is a tiny bit of memory work required, but a crib is also included so you don't have to worry about forgetting or getting lost when performing. Is this a true ACAAN? In the interest of transparency, Vanishing Inc. would like to note that "Miracle One" is technically a CAAN (Card at Any Number) effect. However, the way your audience will perceive it is as fair and straightforward as a true Any Card at Any Number effect. They shuffle the deck and force the card on themselves in their hands. So, they will never suspect that they had anything less than a totally free choice of any of the 52 available cards. Can they name any Number? As far as the audience is concerned, they can freely choose any number. Christian's super clever construction of the effect and scripting allows you to easily guide them into the necessary range of numbers needed to make the effect work. It is a large range and the way you subtly influence them is completely natural and goes by unnoticed. So, technically, they can't name some of the largest and smallest numbers. But, they will never even think to do so. The use of this particular range also plays a key role in selling the fairness of the overall selection process and ultimately makes the trick stronger. Will my performance always look like the one in the trailer? With "Miracle One", their chosen card will always appear at their named number. This experience never changes for the audience. The only thing that varies slightly is minor tweaks to the method used to achieve it based on the scenario. The card selection process remains identically fair in every performance. It happens in their hands. They shuffle, they cut and they pick a card. You don't need to touch the deck and, in the very rare times that something goes different than planned, Christian has developed an out that rights the ship quickly without anyone noticing a thing. Your spectator will also always be the one who holds the cards and deals to their number. In some scenarios, you may need to take the cards out of the box and possibly deal a few cards first as an "example" before handing it to them. But they will always be the one that deals down to the card at their number. This removes any possibility in their mind of you doing anything sneaky. Can I repeat this effect? "Miracle One" was created to be a closer or a showstopper that you use when you really need to wow an audience. It cannot be repeated for the same audience but, it's so powerful and fair, there really shouldn't ever be a reason you need too.
