Den er livsforandrende.Du bliver i bookazine no. 10 præsenteret for både udøvende kunstnere og deres praksis og for håndværkere, hvis viden og kunnen muliggør værkproduktion, ligesom du møder billedskolerektor, museumsdirektør og gallerist og inviteres med til det finske kunstnersamfund i Fiskars. I min samtale med designer Birgitte Due Madsen introducerer hun sin materialebaserede arbejdsmetode, som hun kalder fra ‘fra unika til duplika’. Hun ser sig dermed tilbage og læner sig op ad en lang tradition, hvor kunstnere og kunsthåndværkere har vekslet mellem at udkomme med kunst og at have samarbejder med virksomheder, som har seriefremstillet deres designs. Sådan var det for eksempel for Axel Salto, som i skrivende stund er udstillet på Clay Keramik Museum Danmark.
