Here you will experience the four playmates: Carsten Dahl, Jesper Zeuthen, Nils "Bosse" Davidsen and Stefan Pasborg , romping about in boundless experiments. The recordings contain brand new songs that represent the open and creative flow. The concert has an all-out magical vibe to it; due to the unique tones that enchants the audience. Luckily this is now perpetuated on CD.

Carsten Dahl Experience?s new CD ?METAMORPHOSIS? was recorded in Oslo immediately after their concert at Molde Jazz Festival in July 2011. The pianist Carsten Dahl, saxophonist Jesper Zeuthen, bassist Nils ?Bosse? Davidson and drummer Stefan Pasborg have once again created a unique  musical work that is relevant across, and beyond musical genres.The listener is invited into a universe, where the sound of silence opens itself up into a colorful spectrum of explosive improvisational pieces - performed and mastered in a manner never before seen or heard in a Danish group. The group manages to explore and challenge each other?s musicianship in their joint venture down the road of free improvisational jazz. This CD marks the group?s second release, and features music that contains elements of chaos and harmony performed by Dahl with his solid improvisations, Zeuthen?s balkanized sax and Pasborg?s and Davidsen?s consistent and rhythmic playing. Carsten Dahl Experience: Caleidoscopia

Caleidoscopia is the Carsten Dahl Experience 's fourth album since their formation in 2007. It all began when renowned Danish jazz pianist Carsten Dahl decided to gather some of his favorite musicians from the Danish jazz stage for a line-up in what he called a “spiritual and musical vision pointing in a lyrical direction and towards abstract music” - a group whose aim was to grow wings with the creation of music. On Caleidoscopia , they manage to levitate once again.   The Carsten Dahl Experience consists of Carsten Dahl on Piano, Jesper Zeuthen on Altosax, Nils Davidsen on Bass and Stefan Pasborg on Drums. Even though they’ll be celebrating their decennial playing together next year, their friendship and understanding of one another doesn’t make their music trivial in any way; rather, it forces them to reach higher and more complicated grounds in order to bring forward musical surprises. It’s improvisational jazz at it’s best: The music multiplies and splits up in colourful patterns and rearranges itself into ever-varying themes and motifs; like the myriad of colours and form-shifting patterns you see when looking through a kaleidoscope.
