Garfield Kart is a crazy arcade racing game with the popular hero of the comic and cartoon series, Garfield the cat, in the lead role. The French studio Anuman Interactive is responsible for its production.
Gameplay
The title allows us to take a seat behind the wheel of crazy car models and take part in crazy races played on sixteen different routes, based on locations known from comic book cards and TV screens. These include places such as the immediate vicinity of Garfield's house, a Mally supermarket and a sunny farm. In the game, we can play as eight characters, in addition to the title character, he participates in races, among others, Odie's dog, Jon the cat's owner, his girlfriend Liz and the cat Nermal. Each car and individual drivers can also be properly modified with hundreds of different accessories and additions.
The key to victory - apart from smooth and fast driving - is the use of bonuses received during the subsequent laps. "Arsenal" was designed and maintained in the style of a story about Garfield - we have at our disposal, among others lasagne, cookies, exploding diamonds or flying sausages. The game allows us to play in three single player game modes: Grand Prix, single race and time trial. In addition, a multiplayer module is available, in which we can fight with five other players at the same time, and an interesting addition is the possibility of cross-platform play with owners of mobile versions or for Apple computers. Every day, the creators also provide a special challenge, the completion of which results in receiving new additions that affect the performance of vehicles or the appearance of the heroes.
