Design: Birger Dahl, 1952. Concept: A Norwegian design classic is reborn! The classic Birdy lamp from 1952 relaunched by Northern Lighting. Birdy has a strong modernist expression, here in the wall lamp version. The lamp series was originally produced by the Norwegian company Sønnico (Oslo). The enormously modernist expression of the lamp series also won the Gold Medal at the Milan Triennale in 1954. Birdy is as timeless and inspiring in its design now as it was then.
