Design: Mazo and Magnus Læssøe Stephensen, 2020 Concept: With the ARCH collection, Mazo creates new avenues with their forward-looking modernism. The series is a tribute to the renowned Danish designer and architect Magnus Læssøe Stephensen (1903-1984), whose sketches and designs Mazo has an exclusive license for. The ARCH series originates from a basic study of shapes and embodies a mixture of lightness and weight as contrasts in discreet interaction with each other. Straight sculptural lines are flanked by the curves of the armrest which is an embodiment of functionalism from the mid-20th century. The armchair can be conveniently placed in the living room or in the bedroom and creates a comfortable and calm atmosphere where you can enjoy the evening with a cup of hot coffee after a good day.
