Vitra Girard Bird Sculpture Natural

The original bird, which Girard hand-carved from apple wood, is preserved in the archives of the Vitra Design Museum. But in 2021, Vitra, in collaboration with the Girard family, brought a version of the bird in maple wood into their collection. The archaic-looking sculpture can be placed standing on either its legs or its tail, and it can also be used, for example, as a bookend.
