What’s New in FIFA 2019? Champions League!
Fifa 19 includes the addition of the famous and prestigious UEFA Champions League tournament! The player has now the possibility to play this whole tournament from the group stage all the way to the final. The best European football clubs take part in Champions League. Thanks to the official license of UEFA Champions League, FIFA 19 can offer various types of matches including Europa League, Super Cup, Champions League. The Champions League content is also added to FIFA Ultimate Team 19, thanks to which Division Rivals mode gets even more exciting. FIFA 19 also has new features in the Kick-off Mode, Active Touch, and Dynamic Tactics options, as well as the Timed Finishing feature. The new mode called Quick Match was also added.
The Journey: Champions
The Journey: Champions offers the player three different persons and their separate stories. The player can play as Kim Hunter, Alex Hunter or Danny Williams. Their careers run in the same span of time and intertwine. You can switch characters whenever you want.
In the beginning we kick off with Alex story in FIFA 19. Now Alex will have the ability to improve his skills under the watchful eye of his idols from one of the best soccer clubs on the globe. What about Danny? Well, he used to be Alex’s foe, now they are friends. They first met during the final tests in National Football Academy. They didn’t quite get along, but it changed when they re-united in Premier League. When Alex left to join the Los Angeles club, Danny started his story in English club. Now Danny is a solid part of the team and is ready for more. Kim Hunter is the half-sister of Alex and a young American soccer player.
Gameplay of FIFA 2019
FIFA 2019 offers for The player has a few gameplay options to choose from. There is the Champions League mod, option to customize and set up a match of your dreams – with your rules, chosen visuals, and more. There are plenty to choose from, like Survival Mode – whenever a goal is scored, one player is removed, No Rules – where, as the name suggest, no rules are applicable (no fouls, calls, bookings, just wild game),
Long Range, in which goals from outside the box are counted as two, Headers and Volleys mode, where scoring is only allowed from a volley or header or First To…, a mode with custom-applied winning conditions such as a golden goal, first two goals, or others.
There is also Cup Final mode, in which there are various real-life tournaments finals to play, like FA Cup, Champion League, Europa League finals.
Home and Away mode consists of two legs: one match played at your stadium, the other at the rival’s one; in case of level score, there are penalty shots. Best Of series, on the other hand, offers classic matches in series of three or five that end up with choosing the ultimate winner of the short tournament.
When it comes to move sets and animations, FIFA 19 comes with some brand new features: Active Touch, Timed Finishing and Dynamic Tactics. Active Touch set consists of new animations or tools that enhance controlling the ball.
Choosing the squad, setting instructions to players, assigning them roles on the pitch, designing your own tactics, choosing a formation, as well as setting new introduced multiple plans of the game that can be changed during the match!
Timed Finishing is a brand new mechanic. It allows the player to take shots of the highest level with just one additional button tap. .
