Star Ocean: The Last Hope - 4K & Full HD Remaster is a refreshed version of the Japanese RPG Star Ocean: The Last Hope from 2009, developed for the PC and PS4 platform . Both productions were developed by employees of the tri-Ace studio, which also has such titles as Resonance of Fate , Radiata Stories or the Valkyrie Profile series .  Story The Last Hope is the fourth major installment in the Star Ocean series . Story-wise, the production is a prequel to the first part; its action begins on Earth in 2096, 31 years after the end of World War III. The global conflict wiped out most of the planet's surface and drove humanity to the brink of extinction, forcing survivors to live in underground cities. The featured events begin shortly after the invention of the superlumination star travel drive, and the scenario tells about the crew of a ship equipped with this technology being sent on a mission to find a new home for the human race. Gameplay Star Ocean: The Last Hope - 4K & Full HD Remaster is an action RPG in which the fun focuses on exploration, completing tasks and, above all, fighting battles. Like the previous installments of the series, the game offers a highly dexterity combat system. In the skirmishes, we lead a team of four, and the proper coordination of the heroes' attacks plays a key role . It's just as important to manage your subordinates outside of missions. By interacting with the ship's crew, the player's hero shapes mutual relations, which then have a significant impact on the gameplay. In addition, we decide ourselves which characters will divide the cabins, and these choices are then reflected in the further development of the plot. The game also offers a crafting system known to fans of the series, which allows you to create weapons and useful gadgets. A novelty is the possibility of organizing meetings during which the characters discuss the designs of the objects, and the end result depends on the appropriate skills of the participants of such conferences.
