The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is an action RPG, which is a continuation of the great hit based on the works of Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The action takes place right after the events known from the first and continues the plot of the assassination attempt on King Foltest by Geralt. The case quickly gets out of hand, as a mysterious man known as the Kingslayer appears in the arena. The White Wolf is drawn into an intricate and dangerous political intrigue, and his decisions will determine the fate of the inhabitants of several kingdoms. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings takes us back to the world created by Andrzej Sapkowski, who decided to look at the atmosphere of fantasy from a slightly different angle than many other creators. The Witcher universe is therefore full of monsters, various races and magical creatures, which, however, usually do not like people, and they are mutual. This leads to many serious conflicts. The creators faithfully reproduced many places and characters known from the pages of novels and short stories, although they also enriched the world with new elements. Players can visit, among others, the town of Flotsam with the adjacent forest, the dwarven Vergen, the Pontar Valley and the ruins of the elven city of Loc Muinne.
